fine measurements darn sure is key. good thing it stayed with you.
Ive been reloading for the past 35yrs and I still to this day have to back track and double ck. Even the simplist procedure may become redundent, and thats when you have a good chance of throwing a wrench in the gears. My problem is that Im really not a patient man. Being a Ford certfied tech for the past 35yrs has turned me into speed demon. Ill take a transmission out, tear it down, mic here/mic there/spec here/measure there/part here/part there and bam, its back in the vehicle. my wallets happier and so is the customer.....
I have a tendency of wanting to do that while reloading, and if that isnt calling the kettle black then?.....
I catch myself and needless to say.... I do alot of back pedaling.
Theres tons of stories Im sure from reloaders out there from there short commings and every one, including me.....learn from it.
