.243 savage vlp f class

After trying for a while i came to the conclusion a wait of 6-8 months for a .308 for f/class vlp here in canada was too long so I perchased a .243 /9.25 twist the Q what applicable bullet type and weight will get me to 1000yds

With the 9.25 twist you might try the 95gr Bergers or the 105gr A-Max. The 9.25 twist will limit your choices for bullets that might get you to 1000 yards. Most bullets with a BC. high enough to stay supersonic to 1000 yards will need a 1/8 or faster twist in a .243.

Yep 105 Amax and 95 berger is the top of the world for that twist.

that would be the non-existing 105 a-max. but if you could find some, and you were to drive them with 42gr. of h4350,that would get them to about 3010 fps. that worked for me for my first year at 1000 yards. MARK
