I've been assembling this in pieces as I find them, but it's finally done.

The barrel is an 18" bull barrel which came from the McGowen ready to ship page for $185. The scope is a VX-3 6.5-20LR which was sent off to Premier Reticles to have M1 turrets and a Mil-Dot reticle installed. I got through a trade for about $500.

Now I just need time to go shoot it. I have a some Lapua 6.5x284 brass waiting to be necked up and a box of 168gr Berger VLDs ready to go.

That looks real nice. I am sure with that scope and barrel combo you should be able to do anything.

How does it feed through the factory magazine?

It actually feeds pretty well if you open up the lips a little bit. I ran some 120 gr Nosler BTs to get on paper and they fed pretty well from the mag.

I finally took it out today to start load work. I'm getting under .5" groups with the 168 Berger VLD while working up loads with H4831sc. The faster I send them, the better they shoot. Right now they're moving at 2665fps and I got under .4" for 3 shots at 58.5 gr. I may work up another grain or two to see how that shoots.
