Stock for F/tr

Thinking about getting a stockade prairie dog stock to put a target action and 30" heavy Palma barrel. Is this stock stiff enough for this. What stocks are you guys using for competition?

The Choate is a good place to start. The H-S are good, Manners and McMillian are peachy. The B&C will work as well. Anything with, but not limited to an aluminum chasis will work.

Do you already have a target action and heavy Palma barrel? The reason I'm asking is the heavy Palma is lighter than what most serious F/TR shooters are using. If starting from scratch the Savage Model 12 F/TR is tough to beat for the money and ready to shoot out of the box.
