well yesterday i decided to order a stockade coyote stalker. i am going to be putting together a 260 ai with a 28" heavy sporter and think that this stock should work out for long range targets, hunting and maybe a competition or two. the only thing i have been wondering is if ill need to add a raised cheek rest or not? its not a big deal if i do, just wondering what your guys' experiences have shown you

Just curious how long Kevin said would be turn around time on the stock? I left a vm for Kevin today about one of his stocks. I wanted to know the weight and lead time for his stocks.

Just got mine yesterday (ordered Dec 20). Sand to remove mold release, and I'm using auto filler/primer spray which appears to fill the small voids well. Will paint soon. Not much work, and it is a well made stock from all I see so far.

I just got mine that was ordered on Jan 3. Took so long to get in I gave up on it and sold the gun. Mine didn't need any sanding and was basically ready for paint as is. The quality is every bit as good as my Manners or Mcmillans I have, however 9 months is Redonkulously too long to wait for a stock. Its for sale in the classifieds but I believe its sold.

Anyone care to weigh your Stockade stock for me. I love the weight of the Manners hunting stocks and I'm hoping that Kevin's stocks are in the same weight.

The Manners are roughly 28 ozs.

Manners are known for being light weight. Highly doubt you'll find the Stockade at the same weight.
