new stock for mod.12 Varmint low profile

Hello I have a question to ask.
I'm happy owner of a Savage rifle varmint stainless mod.12 low profile 223R. and will want to change the stock in laminated wood with a synthetic.
Living in Italy the only import stock and Midwaytalia, but only sells stock for rifle mod.10 and mod 110.
which of these you can 'use' ???

The mdl. 10 will fit the mdl. 12.

Yes a model 12 will use the same stock as a 10, 11,16 or any short action, but there is a hitch. In 2006 Savage changed from a stagged feed to a center feed magazine system, and in the process of this they changed the action bolt spacing. Most stocks are set up from the old Stagged feed system. You need to know which one you have before ordering a stock.
