Guys,

I just posted on the Axis forum about doing mods...I read the FAQ's and it seems it will not fit my parts.

Long story short, I have bought a whole heap of parts for a Model 10 Hunter Max 1 I special ordered and that was sold accidentally so I am left wondering what model to use.

It seems they will all fit the 16 Weather Warrior apart from the stock (Choate Tactical 4.4) so What stock will fit the 16 Warrior (22-250) and am I right in thinking the parts I have will fit no problems?

Parts Listed
Timney Rifle Trigger 110-116
PTG Flutes SA Bolt Body
EGW 20 Moa Mount
Stcok (TbC)

Yeah accutrigger too...talk to me!!

I just bought it on an Auction site... price was good...

Just been searching frantically about parts and they look all good... Apart from the Choate really, just need to check screw spacing when it turns up but its half the price of a new rifle so if its 4.4 then Happy days.

It will get a Varmint barrel when I can be bothered but for now it will get some use after having the other parts installed.

You have a Center Feed action which is 4.4". But where is the bolt release? Some 16's have the bottom release and one is side bolt release.

Looks to be on the side.. I prefer it there as the bottom one was a pain it the rear...

Several stock options. Choate makes one that fits. Hogue makes a couple. Boyd's is blind magazine only. And there is Stocky's stocks.

You are a champion! I have seen the ultimate Varmint from Choate.

Looks the goods too... Nice and Heavy... Should be steady too.

From that picture and you stating that its a 22-250, it is a 4.40 spaced short action, so you should be good to go.

I had a Choate Ultimate Varmint Stock on a 204 12FV for awhile. It is heavy, but solid like a brick outhouse.
