hello, I'm new to the forum but I have been around guns for quite a while... I ask this question because I had one break off on me when I was tweaking it.. I found a cheap way to fix it took me about 20 minutes next to no cost..

I did search and did not find anything on it but if someone has done this already sorry for the repeat

you will need some JB weld
a 2 hole copper pipe strap ( they are very flexible)

Take a Bic type pen and bend the copper strap around it.. with some tweaking you can get it to the size you need
Glue the broken piece back on using model glue. (dont use super glue dries to hard)
Test fit the copper strap then use JB weld to glue it on.. let it sit over night..

Fits in the gun like new no mods needed and comes out easy.. Dont know how long it will last but the copper is doing the work now not the plastic..

Posted a link sorry could not get pic to work...

Nice fix! Mine has not broke yet, but I'm almost thinking about reinforcing mine in this manner before it would have the chance.

Good idea.

Epoxy....
Where would I be without it.

Duct Tape and Baling Wire.

Duct Tape and Baling Wire.

Got plenty of that but I still prefer epoxy as A first choice....

Baling wire for a clip, epoxy for a magazine.

If I had feelings they might have been hurt.

Nice man. I've been concerned about this for a bit. I may just do it as a preventative measure as I'm seeing a new one run like $35
