Viortex Diamondback VS. Bushnell Elite Tactical/Legend HD

I'm looking for 2 things: binoculars and a scope. Hopefully you all have some experience with these brands and the products I'm trying to compare. Looking forward to any help you're able to offer.

I receive a heavy discount on Bushnell products, which is the only reason I'm looking at them in the first place. The optics that are getting my attention are:

Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 10x42

Diamondback 10x42

- Scopes -

Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 3-9x50 - 18.7oz

Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40 - 14.4oz

Bushnell Elite Tactical ERS 6-24x50 - 27oz

Each of the Bushnell options is sub $200, with my deal, except the Tactical at the end. I put that in there just to get an idea of how well it performs and if it would be worth purchasing that for a long range scope. Everything else getting compared on this list is actually being purchased for my light-weight hunting setup that will get me out to at least 500 yards.

Alright, after some serious research this evening I've narrowed it down to a couple. Hopefully I can get some others to weigh in on this for me =)

Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40 - 14.4oz
Bushnell Elite 3-9x40 - 13oz

Vortex Diamondback 10x42
Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 10x42

I was able to try out a pair of the Diamondback Binos at a store earlier this evening. I thought they worked well, but they're about $75 more, so I'm wondering if they're worth that extra cash.
Haven't had any opportunity to try either scope, but am leaning towards Bushnell based on reviews I've read online. Hopefully I'll get some more feedback before pulling the trigger, but I need to put the order in so I can get this new rifle setup!
