Accutrigger on a non accutrigger action?

Is it possible to instal;l an accutrigger from a 10 FP onto a 111 non accutrigger action? I searched but came up with so much info I could not easily find the answer.

There are some differences in the action from the old wire spring trigger. I am not certain about the new coil spring non AT actions.

Its a new 111 with the side bolt release. Is it major milling or just touching up?

Adjust/clean up the old Savage trigger rather than go to all the trouble - there is probably not that much to be gained with installing the Accutrigger...not worth the effort, IMO.

I put one on a stevens a year or two ago, had to drill a small hole on bottom of tang for the tail of the spring and adjust the safety
Best way is take the trigger off the 111 action and trial fit the accutrigger, that will give you some idea of what will be involved

Personally I have put 4 accu-triggers on non-accu-trigger actions. No milling required for any of those installs. The actions ranged in age from the mid-1970's era to current production, all with side mounted bolt release.

All I did to install was to clip the tip off of the rear accu-trigger spring, meaning the little tip that fits into the hole on accu-trigger actions (see blue arrow in pic). Then I melt out the thread locker (lower red arrow) on the adjustment screw (upper red arrow), so I can adjust for the proper engagement to the safety bar, and install like normal into the action. All 4 work great, just like they did on accu-trigger built actions, and all adjustments are the same otherwise, and of course I removed the wire spring and little adjustment screw that was used on the old style trigger.

I am not certain about the new coil spring non AT actions.

The one of mine that was so equipped was a direct drop in, just had to adjust the safety.
