Took my new Mark II BGV to the range today to shoot some groups. First impressions...very accurate. First shot was in the 9 ring at 25 yards. Took 4 more shots fine tuning the scope. First group using CCI SV was 1/2 inch. Moved to 50 yards and took 10 shoots and got a grouping of 3/4 of an inch. Me like very much.

The bad...cycled rounds good at first, but it started not extracting the round from the chamber. It got to the point it would do this with almost every round. I ran a bore snake through several times to clear anything that would make the cases stick in the chamber, but they still did anyway. Any thoughts on what to attempt next?

EDIT: I just cycled some rounds through cold and they all extracted fine. Could it be the wax lube on the CCI's causing the problem after the chamber heats up?

This is a common issue with Savage rimfires. Contact Savage and they should take care of it.
