Trying to replace bolt handle. What's the best way to get an over tight bolt screw loose? Couldn't budge it. Heat gun didn't help.

Put it on the floor and step on it :-X
I've heard of folks do it that succesfully. Never had one that tight myself tho.

Yep. step on the bolt with one foot, and the allen wrench with another. When it breaks loose it will sound like it broke. No need to re-tighten it that much though.

I use a allen headed socket on a rachet on the floor.

Yep, scares the crap out you the first time you hear the "crack" when it lets loose.

Just last night I installed two bolt handles, put the big T handle allen wrench in the end of the bolt, put the bolt on the floor (carpet), stood on the back of the bolt and broke them loose. Really does sound like you broke something!
