Got a bunch of 50grain VGs and not much load data available. Barnes website only listed two powders H380 and 4895. I'm out of 4895 (can't find anymore) and hate fooling with spherical powders like H380. Even though H380 is one of the best for the 22-250. Anybody got any recipes they may want to share?

Hey Andy here are some for ya, from slow to fast burning that I have tried.

H4350 - RL17 full case

414 - full case

Varget - RL15 - 38gr

Benchmark - 36gr

10X - 35gr

That should keep you busy, I have run a lot more grains than shown, but those are good starting loads.

All these work good with 50gr varmint grenades?

Yes they do, and in both 12 and 14 twist.

Cool deal. I really appreciate it. I have a 12FV with a 1:12. Can't wait to try em out.

41gr is the most I have manage to stuff in a 22-250 case and still seat a 50gr bullet.
