Can I run this by you guys real quick before I start placing orders?

Here's my plan, I have an older Savage 111 with the DBM that is released using the round button on the side of the stock. The box mag staggers the rounds. The rifle looks like this one (not my picture):

I like the convenience of being able to take the mag out for getting in and out of the truck while hunting, but have had feeding problems where the bolt will not pick up the next round. I also hate trying to put the rifle back together and fit all the mag release parts in there. Finally, I am not impressed with the "tupperware" stock. I want to eliminate these issues altogether and convert it to a blind mag with a decent aftermarket stock. After researching this forum, I plan going with the following parts and wanted to make sure I have this right:

Top loading box mag: http://www.brownells.com/magazines/rifle-magazines/magazine-parts/magazine-boxes/magazine-box-assembly-long-action-sku855000041-12840-31159.aspx?sku=855-000-041
Boyd's Classic stock (110 BLIND MAG LONG ACTION STAGGERED FEED FACTORY BARREL) http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/product.htm?pid=9444&cat=1223#

My other stock consideration is a medalist or a carbelite if I can find one- if so, would those stocks fit my action and are they blind feed? (They just say long action savage) Any other stock recommendations?

Thanks for your help,

Chris

Well, I pulled the trigger today on a B&C Medalist stock and the magazine parts. I'll post some pictures when completed!
