After much research here, I recently purchased a Savage 11VT from DSG. Overall I am very pleased with the rifle and after being on here a little bit and seeing the stuff being done with these rifles I have the bug. I want to convert the rifle to use 10 round mags. I have the parts list and numbers to order the metal trigger housings and such and have seen where I can order ten round mags from Dark eagle. Then I saw on you tube a stock savage rifle the 10fcp-sr that has factory ten round mags. Now my question is since both rifles are 10 series can I just upgrade mine to the 10 fcp-sr trigger guard assembly and use the factory mags? Would the factory mags be any less expensive than the dark eagle brand? any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
