I found the honey hole! The question is are they worth the price $54.99 per brick. What are they costing elsewhere?

Powder Valley gets $31.50 when they are in stock....if they are worth $54.99 to you...which is your personal decision...buy them. Right now people are paying top dollar for anything reloading related.

Wow I New they were high but 23.50 over retail is a lot high.

This is at our local sporting store I wonder if he has to pay a much higher price to get his hands on them for his customers or if it is just greeeeedd!! Tell me what you think i value the opinions on this forum very much

Supply and demand.......demand is very high, supply is very low......equals higher prices.

It comes down to how bad do you want/need them. If you gotta have or want them bad enough......buy what you need, then wait for the prices to fall........IF they ever fall. That will be a chance you take. It's a coin toss.......

The political climate being what it is, it may be a very long time before supply catches up to demand.

BTW........if you were to buy from Powder Valley you would have to pay HazMat fees, usually $27.50 per shipment if that will help in your decision. If you were to buy from an online source, buy enough to justify the HazMat charges.

Fed 205m's are always a bit higher than standard 205's Yes Powder valley sells them for $31.50, but your not comparing apples to apples here. You also have to add shipping, and haz mat cost. I cant remember how many primers you can get on 1 haz mat fee. Haz mat fee is $27.50 and shipping go on amount spent. If memory severs right your aloud 10 boxes under 1 shipping, under that assumption yout total would be 315.00 dollars with that figure shipping cost would be $13.95. Now if you bought 10 boxes of primers diving the shipping, and haz mat cost onto of the cost you are at 35.65 a box. If you buy less the price goes up, if you buy more the price goes down.

My local shop has a ton of cci 450 primers, at 49.95 Powder Valleys base cost is $36.00 Not a hole lot different.

No its the price of pure gouging by greedy businessmen. My wholesaler hasnt raised them a nickel. It is just an excuse to to make obscene profits from the loyal customers that bought them from him at regular prices.
