Hello Y'all,
I am now a savage guy also. I picked up a model 170 today from my LGS. He did the ffl for me. I won the gun off of gunbroker.com. I think I got a good price for the condition it is in. As you can see by this picture. It doesn't look used at all. Hope you enjoy, tony

30-30. I wanted to complete my 30-30 collection. I have a Marlin 336 in 30-30. Since nobody has made a semi-auto in 30-30 I am finished for my 30-30 guns. Thanks for the welcomes. Tony

Nice 170, watch for loading problems with the 30-30's, the 170's were famous for having poor loading faults.

My 170 in 35 Rem doesn't seem to have it but I used to have one in 30-30 that did.

I think it might have had something to do with the rimless case of the 35 and the rimmed case of the 30-30.
