Bottom bolt release bypass

Question, on my bottom bolt release action, it will fit a standard Stevens stock, so can it be used on any stock with a metal trigger guard? One would have to remove stock to remove bolt but that would be fine with me.

It is my understanding that it will and just like you said you would have to remove the stock to take the bolt out. I have not done this and this is second/third hand information. Maybe someone that has actually done this will chime in.
