It's a savage 99 300 savage.
Ser# 552438 or 433 can't make out the pictures. How old and what's it worth?

Looks to be a 1950. Any idea on the value of the gun?

The 99 EG in 300 Sav is the most common 99 out there, kinda like a Win 94 in 30-30.

It does look to be in nice shape but they're so common it kind of levels the price out. You should be able to bring $550 - $600 for that EG.

Date of manufacture is 1950 as you suspected...and as someone else said, the 300 Sav is the most common 99EG...I'd put the value between $400 and $500 in my opinion...the wood looks to be a little rough on the butt stock but the blueing looks good...but really hard to tell by these pics.
