Greetings All - Was in the local Walmart last night and found this Remington ammo for 28.00 a box of fifty. I had not heard of MC but the clerk told me it was the same as FMJ. Got home and did some checking and found out he was only "a little" right as the bullet is lead. I have never shot any lead bullets and looking for someone to chime in who has experience with this type of bullets and what it does to the barrel and do you have to change how the rifle is cleaned? Thanks in advance to those taking the time to share their hard earned experience with a relative "newbie". Have a good day all.

MC is "metal case" which is a jacketed bullet so yeah, pretty much FMJ.

Got a bunch of this in my gun room.

Shoots about 1.75MOA from an 18" 1:8 5.56 AR and was about MOA from a 12FV.

I shot quite a few of these rounds out of my Windham Weaponry AR. I think its a good buy for the price. Its not as accurate as some loads, but it won't break the bank.
