New model 11 stock options?

Hi,

I see most of the affordable (under $200) retro-fit stocks like the Bell and Carlson, Boyds etc that are intended for the short action Savages are not made for the newer model short actions (4.4" screw spacing). It is alos unclear whether many of these are intended for blind mags or are inletted for the detach mags?

I have new model 11 detachabale magazine (package rifle) that I would like to restock.

Has anyone restock a newer model 11 short action with a detach mag?

Although I am looking for a more 'classic' sporter/hunter style, but still something to consider!

The Choate has a huge barrel channel. Even a varmint contour has lots of clearance.

If you want a sporter channel, you should probably contact Sharpshooter or Stockade. Either will cost more than the Choate, but they're much better stocks.
