Jerry's Sports Center (distributor) offered some similar guns in the past (2005 or 2006) in both centerfire and rimfire variants. Nothing really special about them other than they had a unique colored laminate thumbhole stock. This was before Savage offered any factory laminate thumbhole stocked models so they were a little more "special" than they are today. They're not sought after or prized collector pieces either like the more upscale limited production distributor exclusives offered each year by Browning, Colt and/or Ruger.

The H serial number prefix indicates that it was made after January 1, 2010.
