My gun:
10FP .308 w/brake aftermarket stock bipod bushnell scope factory barrel trigger

Previously zero'd with 110gr Sierra, POI moved 1" left with the Bergers.

The load:
1x fired Lapua brass neck sized
47.0 gr Varget
Fed 210m primer
125 gr Berger match flat base
2.870" base to tip (approx .005" off lands)
est. 3000 fps

The feat:
5 consecutive shots at 100 yards off a bipod and sandbags and getting sub half inch group with a factory rifle. Actual group is .461" max spread center to center.
If that seems easy for you, then consider that I have had Parkinson's disease for 7 years and am pretty shaky.

Anyways, just wanted to share. I had an issue at the range. I extracted a chambered round when the range officer called cease fire, and ended up pulling the bullet and dumping powder in my chamber. Had to get range officer to tap the bullet out with a rod. The bullets were only seated about 3/16" into the neck. Anyways, I dont plan on doing that one again. Now, I will be picking oily Varget from the threaded part of the receiver for the next couple days.

i agree varget and oil make a mess, my errors have been on my 550 w/ case lube.

good shooting, i don't know to many guys that would be unhappy w/ that. i am still debating which bullet to go w/ this season, i got some bergers, but i'd hate to get addicted to them at there price....

Tyred some Berger 185 HPBT bullets at the 2008 Savage Shoot Out did much like your groups, got them FREE from Berger to try and report on them.

I love Bergers! They shoot great out of everything I have tried them out of.

Berger's shoot great. Only draw-back is the price. Sometime's it's hard to tell the difference between Berger's or Sierra MK's. I'm sure it's me though
