Replaced my high mileage 223AI with a new one this week...little bit longer...Pac-Nor 28" full cylinder..large shank w/9 twist..-0- freebore..223AI again...have 1K+ formed brass so it was an easy decision..added a new machined barrel nut along with a new 1/4" machined recoil lug....scope stayed the same..Vortex PST 6-24x50..tips the scales just short of 18#........test fired & sighted in today...along with tested three different loads..27.5/Benchmark & Nosler 55BTs worked best for now.....IMR8208 & 53 V max load needs tweaked yet...original Pac Nor 12 twist tube came off with +9 yrs in service with nearly 9K rds out...still shot great.....Benchmark worked good in original barrel..shows promise in this one too..rds # 24-25-26 on paper @ 100...

beautiful rifle, great grouping, your landscape needs attention... LOL! Just messing with you. My 7mm RM tips at 14lbs. How do you manage on long walks? I put mine over one shoulder like you would a bat or a long piece of wood, seems to work better than the sling. I have to figure out what to do to make it a bit more shoulder friendly. No problem on winter as the jacket makes up for a pad.
