Well I saw a rifle I have never seen before so I made a trade and I am getting a 114 in 7mm STW. Anyone ever see a factory 7mm stw that came from Savage?

I am not sure on the model, but a friend has a nice factory savage in 7stw. Its the only one I've ever seen. I assume its a 114 since its a nicer wood stock and has a nice finish to it. I am also pretty sure it is a non-accutrigger (its been 2 years since I've seen/shot it). It shoots awesome and if I remember right we loaded 140gr noslers with retumbo. I was amazed how accurate it was! We did a little load development and loaded up 20 rounds or so for deer, and I don't think he has shot them all yet.

In my research looking for RUM actions for a build, I discovered Savage chambered in 300 RUM,7mm RUM,7mm STW & 375 H&H all which had the same long magazine box.

have not seen one, but knew they made one. Have seen the .375 H&H.

I'm excited haha, it will look nice next to the 257 stw that I have only put 20rds down the tube.

Not a 114 but I have a Factory Savage 112 FVSS synthetic stock, non accutrigger, blued action, stainless barrel. Had bought it to build a 257 STW but screwed up and shot it. It is my go to rifle since I bought it from Jim at Northland.

I wonder if I will get around to that 257 STW? I bet I will someday.
