I'm trying to find a one piece leupold base for my model 14 and so far have come up empty. My local gander mountain store assured me that a model 55701 thats for a 110rh round receiver would work . However after getting it home and placing it on the rifle , the front holes line up and the back is probably an 1/2 " off. I'm wondering if I have the right mount or is my rifle drilled wrong? Please advise if you can help and ty.

The only one piece I know of is the STD. If you go to Leupold's web site you will find everything you need there.

For instance under the STD mounting systems I found this. Product #52318 for the stainless look. http://www.leupold.com/hunting-shooting/mounting-systems/std-mounting-systems/std-savage-10-rh-sa-1-pc/

They have matte and blued finish as well

The 110 is a long action and your 14 is a short action.

Also is it stagger feed or center feed, doesn't matter on two piece base, but one piece it may.

Outside of flat back or round back what else could be the difference?
