400 yard group savage flcp-k .308 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jakeandtiffanyfreese/9160980869/) by JF TX (http://www.flickr.com/people/jakeandtiffanyfreese/), on Flickr

400 yards. 168SMK 42.5g Varget 0.030 jump. All my other groups were running like 2" until the mirage got terrible. It was 110degrees when I finally quit.

Very nice group! and great shooting! I'm still trying to find an accurate load for my .308 since all my normal components are not available right now (168 SMK's, 175 SMK's). I'm stuck with a bunch of Hornady 168 BTHP and 178 BTHP, ther good bullets but it takes a lot of experimenting to get those clover leaf groups. I am getting close though, again that's an impressive group at 400 yards, I would be hanging that one up in the reloading room!

Did you use bi pod or bags?

Dan

This was on the bi pod, 168 SMK, 42.5 grains of Varget 0.030 jump CCI primers and federal brass. I couldn't believe it when I saw it!

Looks 1" low and 1" left to me. Wait a minute, all three shots are 1" low and 1" left!! Excellent, LOL.

I, too, am very very happy with my right handed FCP-K, even though I had to take the brake off for F class shooting. That changed the zero but had no effect on the groups. I've done 3" at 500 meters with mine, and I'm still learning. 1/2" at 100.

Congrats and great shooting.

Wow. That is something else!!!!

I shoot those targets all the time, but at 200 yards. No way can you aim at the tiny bulls eye, your cross hair or dot will completely cover it.

You must have had the Gods of wind blow those bullets the one inch left.

Tactical works shell holder, harris bipod, dark eagle mags, I do need a better bolt handle.

I really like this one but the machine work makes me wonder....

The barrel/reciever/mag well, look identical to mine. difference is the brk/stock/right handed/1:11.25 twist 5R.
Ive seen some great results from 10 FCP-K, including your,s.
I plan to acquire one by yrs end (both fingers crossed)
Just have to get ahold of HS precision and make sure they do infact carry a stock for this model
Great Looking rifle!!!!!!!!!!!....by the way!
Finally found some Varget here locally as well. Ive just about run out of my 8ld,er Ive had for some time that I use on my gas guns for 168/175 smks... I cant wait to load-em up for a 1:10 twist Savage.
