Short action factory DBM - max OAL?

I seem to recall a SA centerfeed blind mag would hold up to about 3.00" COAL...can anybody tell me what a factory detachable magazine will hold as max COAL for a 243/308 class round?

Mine is 2.985 So your pretty close.

I have a .260 and 2.985 is just about right.
