Getting old. Memory just isn't what it used to be.
Did below in my personal rifles many years ago, and easier to check with the forum than tear it apart to check.
Replaced the trigger in the Stevens 200 my sons in law use to shoot doggies when they come visiting.
Took the stock one out and replaced with a Timney.
I left the "piano wire" spring off when putting it back together since the Timney has the trigger pull weight screw.
Correct?
