I'm helping a friend setup his Savage, Could anyone tell me what the Action Base Screws are to be Torqued at?

a little more info would help...what stock are you using. If I am bedding and pillar blocking a laminate stock I start at 40 inch pounds and play with tightness from there, usually end up tighter. After I find loads that work I experiment, sometimes it makes a big dif and sometimes not. Caliber might make a dif too...you just need to play with and find out.

It's the new Accustock with Aluminum bedding block, in 223 cal.

Read "Torque the Accustock" in the Savage FAQs section. It's all there.
