Savage Varmint Actions in my LRP HS Precision Stock

I am getting an XLR chassis for my LRP (.260), so I'll have the HS Precision stock laying around. Thinking about a 6.5x47L build and am considering one of the varmint action being sold by NSS. I am guessing it's a standard shank? If standard, will it even fit into the LRP stock since it was built for the large shank action?

The H-S Precision Stock is a perfect fit for a Savage Varmint Action. The bottom metal and DBM will also fit the H-S Stock.
