I can't seem to get my savage in 6.5x47 lapua with an aics stock to feed correctly.
Either the tip of the round jams into the barrel face above the chamber, or it jams down into the magazine at a 45 degree angle causing the follower to get stuck. If i pull the bolt back slightly, the round pops on top of the magazine and sometimes will then feed and sometime it won't.
Before I take the gun to a smith, is anyone out there had the same issue, and if so, what was the fix?
I love the stock and I love the caliber. Single feeding rounds has been getting me groups in the .1s. I'd really hate to have to change either.
