Anyone here use the Hornady Lock N Load guage for measuring and correcting runout. Was going to go with the RCBS but don't care for the v-blocks.What do you use? Thanks, Old Grumpy Bark

V Blocks, in my opinion, there 100% accurate, how can they not?
I built my own 6 years ago, using a Starrett ball tip dial indicator, with the Magnetic base, and three V-Blocks. But depending on the length of the case,(6BR or 308) you always only use two of the V-Blocks at a time, and one always sits in the extractor grove for indexing. And you can take reading from the center of the case body, the neck, or best of all, any part of the cantilevered bullet. I ordered an RCBS once, but when I compared it to mine, I sent it back.
So short of building your own, either one should serve you well. How bad can they be, there made in China.
Mike.
