For anyone who is looking for an exceptionel set of one piece mounts/rings for their Axis -
I just fitted these to my 223 and 308. Beautiful fit, well made.

I have two sets of their Hunt Masters that I'm using on my Axis rifles. I preferred these to the 1-piece Game Reaper mount for the simple fact that you can vary the ring spacing by turning one or both around. Also, being a 2-piece setup they'll work on any round-top Savage/Stevens 110-series, the Savage Axis, the Remington 783 and the Ruger American. That versatility is a huge benefit for me since I review a lot of different guns and it gets expensive having to buy new/different bases for them all.
