Is everyone who has a barrel made by Lothar Walther on their Savage happy with them?

If not, can I get an explanation?

Are they good about cutting the barrel shorter than they have listed? After reading their site, they choose the length for each caliber, and don't want a 28" hunting barrel.

Any thoughts or opinions greatly appreciated.

I have on on a 6BR and to be honest i haven't shot it much. So far it's no tack driver but that's my fault for not really buckling down and running it thru it's paces!

I just picked up 24" .243 barrel from them They had it in stock got it in two weeks time.
Shooting ammo that I had laying around it will shoot under 1/2" no copper fouling at all.
overall very happy with the barrel.

I was looking at their website and they only showed a 28" in 243. Did you call them to order the 24" or was it extra to have them cut it to 24"?

I called to ask about a 24" barrel and they had them in stock,It would seem they have alot of barrels that aren't listed on their website.

My buddy has a AR30 bolt gun with a Lother barrel and it shoots very good, under 1/2 MOA 10 shot strings, and it isn't even a bull barrel.
