i am thinking of having a gun built the barrel has a 1-10 twist what bullets could i stabilize?

95 gr Sierra and Berger boat tails, 108 BIB flat backs. Maybe 105 A-max, 107 Sierra's. IMO you would be better off going with a 8 twist barrel. I would also state that I would pick a 6BR over a 243, it is just better equipment.

Do you load your oun??
If you do 1+ on 82boy's post if you do not, you are wasting your time with the 243 AI and a 8 tw, you will not see any advantage over a standard 243 with either an 8 or 10 tw.
If you do load there are other options than a 243; 6BR, 6XC, 6 X 47 Lapua and others and they will get longer barrel life.

yes i reload i have reloaded my stevens 200 to where it is shooting one hole groups rite now at 100 i like the 6mm bullets, and am thinking i would like to do something either 243 ai or 6mm ai dont know yet i am just trying to see what other intell i can get to help me make a decision
