Thanks Mr.F for the Battlezone review, I hope mine performs as well with the .308 reticule as the one you tested. Hopefully I'll get to shoot it soon.

Don't thank me as I'm not the one who reviewed it, that one was handled by Charleslv.

WBM, what model did you get? I have the 6-18X44 AO with the Varmint Reticule.

Same here. The reviews of this scope are really good everywhere from OpticsPlanet to SWFA and Midway. Looks like Leupold has put Redfield back on the map.

Great Member, I think I've picked up a thing or two from him over the years from the classifieds.
Thanks for the Redfield Battlezone Review Charleslv

I had issues with mounting the revolution 3-9*50 on my new 111 25-06. I used the talley lightweights, and the told me the redfield is a short scope, so they sent me an extended high set. The scope is was still too short for the long action. I ended up filing around the front ring to create clearance to the bell. It seems to have worked so far. Really upsetting though.

I use an extent one piece picatinny base, everything fits good and you can move it as needed.

I am a proud owner of the Redfield revenge 6-18x44 as well. I went with the standard cross hair as I prefer to dial for my long range shooting. Outstanding scope with exceptional clarity. It is heavy but very durable. My only complaint is with the 1/8 minute clicks. Every web description I ever seen stated 1/4 minute clicks and even my box says 1/4 when in fact they are 1/8. Other than that I am very happy with it.

Stomp, how is the exit pupil at lowest and highest powers?
I will have to check one out when I swing by cabelas tomorrow.

Very good. I have found this scope to be very forgiving when it comes to alignment and eye relief. Just as good as any Leupold I have looked through.

I have Revenge 4-12x42 on my .223 Axis. Liked it so much I bought a 6-18x44 to try on my LH 110 7mm rem mag. Both seem to be holding up well. 300 rounds on the .223 and approx 100 on the mag.

I like my Revenge and my shooting buddy is a Redfield 'snob' and it's hard to pry it out of his hands.

FWIW, I may be wrong, but I 'have read' that both the Revolution and Revenge use the same glass. The Rev IS assembled in the USA which is a good thing!
