I have a Savage model 14 walnut stock with the 4.4 spacing, DBM cutout and side bolt release?
What action years did this fit?
It looked like the DBM was only for the bottom bolt release????
Has anyone attached a 4.27 action to a 4.4 stock? It looks like I could drill out the front hole so the spacing is the same and with epoxy? could get the 4.27 action in.
The tough part would be the DBM stock covering, but both plastic and stainless could be reworked.
