I bought a 11/111 hunter XP w/accutrigger in .243 winchester in December. I promptly installed a Nikon Monarch BDC 4-16x. cheap-o NCStar bipod, no rear support.

after initial sight in. with the new scope:

after installation of Talley 1-piece scope base/rings:

i'm happy with the results. this thing seems to really like the 100grn superX. I shot a box of 95grn moly coated Federal Fusion and couldn't get under a 3" group with it.

1/2MOA at 200 yards ? Thats pretty good for a factory gun.

well, factory other than optics and base.

yeah, sorry, the range was cut-off on the second target. both are @ 200.

update after my trip yesterday. only change is a Choate Varmint stock. this is after about 40rounds down the tube. i'm now basically back to the same accuracy i had with the factory tupperware. now, we'll see if i can improve enough with this stock to justify the cost. so, far... frankly, i'm disappointed. but, i think I may be stretching the capability of "cheap" factory ammo.

here's the target for the entire session. needless to say, I still need a lot more work with this stock. after about 10 rounds, i realized i was off one click on both windage and elevation. not sure why:

ok, another update. changed the cheek rest so i could get a consistent weld, and a bit more practice. @200yds. pretty happy, actually.

Factory gun and factory ammo are really working out for you. For 200 yards that is super good.
