Shank swap

I need to know if I found a 111 in 300 wsm. Its a pre accutrigger, can I swapp out large shank barrel and nut for small shank barrel and nut.

Thanks that's what I wanted to know. Found a 111 @ good price.But its large shank. Jim has 22-250 in small shanks

your best bet is to by a short action for the 22-250, otherwise you may have feeding problems with a long action magazine. Not to mention with the rifle you mentioned, you would also need some new bolt parts to make the 22-250 work with it.
