On the newer centerfeed vlp's savage lists a 9" and a 12" twist for the 22-250. Were the staggered feed vlp's the same or just 12"?

Nope, they was a 1 in 12 only, now if you go even further back to the 110 days they was a 1 in 14 twist.

I have an non accutrigger 110 in 22-250. Your saying it could be a 1-14 twist instead of a normal 1-12? Left-handed if that makes any diff also.

Yes, when the 22/250 came out they was 1 in 14 twist, it was not until later that Savage changed the twist to 1 in 12. Other gun makers still use the 1 in 14 twist for a 22/250. Your gun could be either.

when did they change the twist of the 22-250 from 1 in 14 to 1 in 12
