Hi, I have a Mod 12 BTCSS in 22-250, but I saw a 223 for sale and I thought at first it was the same rifle model. But the seller said it's a BTVSS, it's the same as my BTCSS except it has a blind magazine.
I've tried to find infos about that rifle on the 'net but all search brings me to the BTVSS rimfire rifles.
Anyone here have a clue about mod.12 BTVSS centerfire? When where they made?

Thanks!

I think the person saying it was a BTVSS forgot to put a "G" in there. I think it is a BGTVSS. I have one in 204. It was a special run for Jerry's Sport Shop and I think one other distributor. It is a thumbhole black/grey laminate in stainless (SS) 26" fluted varmint barrel with a blind mag.

Hope this helps in your search.

Well I saw pictures of the rifle and it's a brown laminate thumbhole stock. Maybe the 'G' you talking about stands for 'Grey'.
Anyway thanks for your reply.

Look in FAQ section at the top of the page under letter codes.
Maybe that will help.

they just did not put a clip in it like the seller said. it was cut for a blind magazine.

you get a SN and someone can tell you when it was made
