New Sav 111 300 wm, is it a flat back or round receiver

Going through a few sites for a rail, EGW says if the inner bolt space is 4.62 " center to center, I have a flat back, but as I look at the receiver it looks round on top. I just want to get a 20 moa rail, I like EGW but want to be sure I am getting the right one.

Post a photo and you will get a definitive answer.
If the top of the receiver aft of the loading/ejection port is round, it is a "round back."
Conversely, if the top of the receiver aft of the loading/ejection port is flat on top, it is a "flat back."

In your original post you said your Savage is new. If new, it is a round reciever. As Thomae said just look at the reciever. If round aft of the ejection port it is a round action. Savage has not made flat rear recievers for a long time.
