Would anyone have a recommendation for scope rings for my new 93R17BTVS? Thank you.

I have a 93R17BTVLSS and I have Weaver Grand Slam rings on it. ;D

I have Burris Zee Signature rings on my mark 2. I also removed the stock bases and put Weaver 45's on it.

Thanks, Tenwalker and Chazz. I've got Burris Zees on another gun and will probable go that way. It's interesting that you replaced the factory bases, Chazz. I was looking at them and the do look kinda funny. Did you have any problems with the factory bases?

I really like the Leupold Rifleman rings. Very solid, lightweight and a good price. Decent looking also.

I replaced my factory mounts with R/T. After using many of the factory mounts I came to the conclusion that they are just not good quality for a mount when target shooting.

Thanks, Shelbyfan. I'll probably wind up replacing my factory mounts as well. They look kinda strange, like they are cast metal.

They are a fairly low grade aluminum I believe. Probably a knockoff of the weavers. I am using a R/T mount on mine, super solid.

The tape is because I was prepping it for bedding. I put the scope on only for the picture.

I have had excellent luck with the Leupold Rifleman rings on Weaver bases. 3 hard-earned years on my .17, hiking through the brush for limb-rats, and going strong. I decided to go with them again on the .204. I like the look, and they have been very sturdy.

Very nice looking, Tal. Did you keep the stock bases?
