Has anyone have information on why we are having trouble locating the new .17 Hornet Dies, either Hornady or RCBS?, I can see why RCBS is slow, but you would think, Hornady would have been prepared for demand.

I can't help you there. The crazy part for me was....last year Savage announced they were going to release the model 25 in .17 Hornet in May. So, sometime in June or so, I bought two boxes of factory ammo, and a box of 50 brass, plus the Hornady dies. I had bullets from loading my .17 Fireball.

So, I've had the reloading components for about a year now. I've just been waiting for the rifle!!!

call RCBS and ask who is stocking them, ie Midway, Mid south etc..

The lady that answers the phone is a great help on many subjects.

I am planning on getting a set of Hornady dies. I went to order a set last month when MidwayUSA had them in but they lasted only a few hours. Has anyone heard if Lee is making them?
