Savage or Stevens question

Is the Stevens mod 310 in 17HMR as good as the Savage 93R17 F?
I can`t get the savage but I can get the stevens. Should I wait or are they the same?

IIRC, if both are sporter barrel models, which by the numbers you give they both should be, They are basically the same other than the trigger. An aftermarket trigger down the road and your better off than you would be if you waited.

I just won a 310 and wouldn't trade it for anything. Sighted it in at 115 yards and put the last 4 shots about the size of a dime. Watch the wind though! That 17 grain bullet wanders with just a slight breeze
