My first post. I have been lurking here for awhile learning as much about the Savage rifles as I can. Keep hearing of their superb accuracy so I have decided to try one. I have a new 116 FCSS in 270 Win on order from a local dealer here in Midland Tx.

I assume this rifle will have both the accutrigger and the accustock features.
You can see here what savage shows for this rifle. http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/models/#

However, I still don't understand all the savage part#s real well and while reading on the board today I saw some info (if I understood it correctly) that indicated there could be some earlier versions of this rifle with the 116 fcss part # that do not have these features.

What do you think? Is my assumption correct that the rifle will have the accutrigger and the accustock?

Thanks for any helpful information.

Assume nothing. ASK your dealer SPECIFICALLY what is coming. It has been my experience that Savages that are "on sale" are older models.
