Has anyone shot at pigs or deer with one of these?: http://buybergerbullets.3dcartstores.com/30-Cal-230-Grain-Match-Hybrid-Target_p_152.html

I'm curious because the only difference seems to be the different ogive and a slightly thicker jacket. Other than that from what I have read the materials and construction are exactly the same. I have read on other forums that they are taking deer, antelope and elk and have even seen pictures that would lead me to believe you don't have to buy two different bullets.

Thoughts?

I do not know about any of the others, but the 140 gr. 7mm in the 7RM does a real good job. My Grandson has some for his 7mag. and they shoot less than 1/2" @ 100yds. for 3 shot groups and the 2 Deer he killed this year were bang flop.

Awesome! I had read the "target" hybrids were killing all manner of critter but I like hearing it from this forum. It gives me the warm fuzzy I need. A re-loading friend of mine is going to help me work up a load for my rifle when it arrives and we were looking at the heavier bullets in the hybrid line for a jack of all trades sort of round.

Thanks guys!
