I'm looking to build my first custom hunting rifle, I'm wanting to build a 30.06, I'm building off a savage model 110 as a platform I'm looking at an er shaw stainless barrel, just need to find we're I could find a complete stainless steel 30.06 action possibly in an accutrigger I'm not certain if there is a model 110 accutriger either. Any advice or direction would be much appreciated.

30-06 is a common chamber. Only way to get a savage action is usually to just buy a sacrificial rifle. It ends up being within a hundred bucks or do over what you pay for an action, if you could even find one. Northland shooter supply sometimes has actions available but they go quick.

yep, look for a 116 weather warrior. They are found at a fair price. If you find one in a 3006 even better unless you want a heavy/varmit profile. BTW Gun Shack has been known to have good prices on shaw and mcgowan barrels for your savage.
