Send it off to Carl Kampfeld, he is the man when it comes to fluting barrels.

that looks really nice, but on his website he states he is not doing the spiral fluting. or do I have to call him ;)

lots of smiths now have on internet they can't do spiral fluting. but if you call its usually no problem.

think it has to do with ER Shaw, I believe, putting a patent on spiral / helical fluting..

because no one thought of it before them !! :p
